Q What level of maintenance training is required for MNS panel operation?
A A competent industrial electrician can learn MNS drawer operation in one day. Test-Isolated-Connected positions are mechanically enforced — you cannot mis-sequence. We provide operating manuals in English, French, and Portuguese. On-site commissioning training is included with every order.
-
Q Do you offer OEM branding and custom voltage on withdrawable switchgear?
A Yes. Custom voltage from 220V to 1000V. Your logo, color scheme, multi-language documentation. Custom busbar layouts and drawer sizes. One dedicated project manager from design review to pre-shipment inspection. NDA available.
-
Q What is the difference between MNS and GCS withdrawable switchgear?
A MNS is the standard full-size design — 600mm to 1000mm wide drawers, up to 6300A. GCS is the compact variant for tight electrical rooms. Both meet IEC 61439-2. Use MNS for main switchboards, GCS for sub-distribution where floor space is limited.
-
Q How long does delivery take for standard MNS switchgear?
A 6 to 8 weeks for standard MNS configurations from our 20,000 m² factory in Zhejiang, China. Custom voltage or non-standard drawer arrangements add 2 to 3 weeks. We keep buffer stock for common ratings from 400A to 3200A.
-
Q What certifications does your withdrawable switchgear carry?
A CE and CCC as standard. We configure for destination market compliance — SASO for Saudi Arabia, SNI for Indonesia, GOST for Russia/CIS. Type-test reports and material traceability certificates ship with every order. Third-party testing at KEMA or ASTA available on request.
-
Q Can I swap a breaker drawer while the panel is live?
A Yes — that is the core advantage of withdrawable switchgear. Move the drawer to isolated position, slide it out, slide the spare in. Under three minutes. The busbar and all other drawers stay live. No building shutdown required.
-
Q What is the short-circuit rating of your withdrawable LV switchgear?
A Our MNS withdrawable switchgear panels are rated 80kA/1s short-circuit withstand. Each assembly is type-tested to IEC 61439-2 at an accredited laboratory. The busbar uses silver-plated copper with insulated supports rated for 25-plus years of continuous full-load operation.
