What role do capacitors play?

In a DC circuit, a capacitor corresponds to an open circuit. A capacitor is a component that can store electrical charge and is also one of the most frequently used electronic components.

This must be based on the structure of the capacitor. The simplest capacitor consists of plates at both ends and an insulating dielectric (including air) in the middle. After the flow, the plates are charged to form a voltage (potential difference), but due to the insulating material in the middle, the entire capacitor is not conductive. 1. Compensation: The capacitor used in the compensation circuit is referred to as the compensation capacitor. 2. Bootstrap: The capacitor used in the Bootstrap circuit is called Bootstrap capacitor. The standard output mode of OTL power amplifiers uses this Bootstrap capacitor mode to increase the positive half-wave amplitude of the signal by a small positive feedback.

3. Frequency divider: The capacitor in the frequency divider circuit is referred to as the frequency divider capacitor. In the loudspeaker frequency divider switch of the loudspeaker, the frequency divider condenser switch is used to operate the high-frequency and medium-frequency loudspeaker in the medium frequency band. The low-level speaker works in the low-level area.

4. Load capacity: refers to the effective external capacity, which together with the vibrating quartz determines the resonance frequency of the load. Standard load capacity values commonly used are 16pF, 20pF, 30pF, 50pF and 100pF. Load capacity can be adapted to the situation. Generally, the resonator's operating frequency can be adjusted to the nominal value.



What are the practical significance of capacitors?

There are many types of capacitors, and different types of capacitors have different functions.
